About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and driven PI/SI Engineer to become a key member of our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and performance of signal and power distribution networks for our Primemas hub SoC chiplets. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed PI (Power Integrity) and SI (Signal Integrity) analyses, simulating high-speed I/O interfaces, and providing critical feedback to optimize package and PCB designs. You will also closely collaborate with the SoC design team on establishing requirements and optimizing specifications for the current and future Primemas chiplet products.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the package and PCB designs based on the SI/PI simulations (e.g., DDR5 or PCIe Gen5 high-speed IOs). Provide feedback on the simulation outcomes.
• Derive packaging and PCB design guidelines based on the system analysis.
• Establish simulation methodologies and ensure mounting compatibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4+ years (3+ years for Master's degree holders) SI/PI engineering experience.
• Experience with SI/PI analysis tools (e.g., Cadence Sigrity, Ansys SIwave).

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of the theory of signal transmission and electromagnetism is highly desirable. 
• Experience in chip/package/board level SI/PI analysis of PCIe Gen4 or DDR4 (or higher) high-speed IOs.
• Proficiency with SI/PI analysis tools is desirable.
• Experience with PDN (Power Delivery Network).
• Good command of measuring instruments.
• General understanding of chiplet-based solutions and die-to-die interfaces is a plus.
