About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and well-motivated High-Speed Interface Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing high-speed and low-power interfaces used for on- and off-chip signaling. An ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the high-speed interface circuits and technologies (TX, RX, SerDes, clocking) and will have 4+ years experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize high-speed and low-power interface circuits for on/off-chip signaling.
  • Design and analyze signaling schemes to ensure robust communication between chips.
  • Work on the design and analysis of Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) circuits.
  • Create and refine equalizer schemes to enhance signal quality and integrity.
  • Conduct detailed signal integrity analysis and provide solutions for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of design/application engineering experience or a Ph.D. with related research experience.
  • Hands-on experience with full-custom design using Synopsys, Mentor, and Cadence tools.
  • Proficiency in interface circuit design and analysis (TX, RX, clocking, SerDes).
  • Strong understanding of and experience with designing and analyzing equalizer schemes.
  • Basic knowledge of signal integrity and related concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mass production and testing of high-speed transceivers.
  • Proven track record in successful mass production projects related to the role.
  • Experience with mixed-mode simulation development.
  • Advanced skills in high-speed analog design, including PLL and DLL.
