About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer who will take part in the AMBA-based SoC design for Primemas hub SoC chiplets. In this role, you will be responsible for designing digital IPs and high-speed interface subsystems, as well as performing the top-level SoC integration for the hub chiplets. As a Design Engineer, you will also work closely with the Verification, Synthesis/DFT, and FPGA design teams on establishing requirements and optimizing specifications for the current and future generations of our hub chiplet products.

Responsibilities

  • Implement digital designs from specifications.
  • Design high-speed interface subsystems using Link Layer and PHY (e.g., DDR, PCIe).
  • Design/integrate HPDS blocks on the SoC level.
  • Design ARM CPU subsystems (CPU, MMU, GIC, DFD, etc.).
  • Design bus interconnect subsystems for the SoC.
  • Collaborate with the SoC DV, FE (Synthesis/DFT), and FPGA design teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Design experience with Verilog or other hardware description languages.
  • Knowledge of AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB) protocols.
  • Experience developing in Linux environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience using Verilog.
  • Understanding of ARM-based SoC architectures.
  • Design experience of DDR memory sub-systems.
  • Design experience of ARM CPU sub-systems.
  • Design experience of PCIe/CXL sub-systems.
  • Design experience of bus interconnects.
  • General understanding of chiplet-based solutions and die-to-die interfaces is a plus.
